Speaking practice that talks back.
Voca is a real-time voice tutor. Learners hold an actual conversation — the model listens while they speak, answers in under a second, and their teacher gets the transcript with everything worth correcting.
Why it feels like a conversation
Most language apps grade a sentence after you finish it. Voca is built around the turn itself — detecting when a learner is done, answering while the thought is still fresh, and staying in the target language throughout.
Sub-second replies
Streaming speech recognition and speculative generation start the answer before the learner has finished the last word.
Knows when you are done
Turn detection combines voice activity with the meaning of what was said, so thinking mid-sentence does not get you interrupted.
Scenarios, not flashcards
Ordering coffee, a job interview, a doctor's appointment — practice runs as a scene with a goal, and the tutor stays in character.
Teachers see everything
Every session leaves a transcript with mistakes highlighted, so classroom time goes to what the learner actually struggled with.
How it works
Four moving parts, one conversation.
-
The learner speaks Audio streams from the phone or browser over WebRTC — no push-to-talk.
-
Voca decides the turn is over Silence and sentence meaning are weighed together before the tutor answers.
-
The tutor replies out loud The response is generated and spoken back within the same breath of the pause.
-
The teacher reviews Transcripts, corrections and assignments land in the teacher cabinet.
